Norm Jabar has proudly served great taste and value for well over a decade. His philosophy on food and service is dead simple: keep it fresh and make it accessible. It's a motto that works. Norm's restaurants enjoy heavy local patronage. He was born in Maine and attended high school in South Portland. He then moved to Boston and for 12 years (marked by punk shows and hangovers), Norm worked in restaurants. At the age of only 24, he opened his first restaurant, a classic French bistro. Norm's first Portland restaurant was Norm's BBQ, opened in July of 1995. Norm's Secret? 'Simple, That's It!'
